Lee and I received great news this past Friday. We have been matched through ABL Adoptions with a birthmother we just love! She is due in September with a baby girl! We are very excited. We feel very blessed to have found this wonderful birthmother. We really like her. We just hope that nothing goes wrong. As we have learned the difficult way, adoption is generally not for the faint-hearted. Yet, we are very hopeful this adoption will go smoothly. So far it has been a great experience.
Ethan and this new joy will be a little over one year apart! We think that will be crazy, but at the same time perfect. They will be close. Speaking of Ethan, the consulate is meeting again this week with our lawyer. We are praying that he will give us a visa for Ethan. The U.S. Ambassador of Uganda and several Senators have become involved in our case and have supposedly urged the consulate to give us a visa. We are hoping they have given the extra push to bring our little boy home. This has been a heartwrenching journey filled with many learning experiences and life lessons. We love Ethan so much. He is very special. We cannot wait until he can come home! Our home is lonely without him.
