Organizing Hair Bows

bow-holder Even before your tiny newborn princess arrives, your bow collection begins. Soon you realize that there are SO MANY shades of pink and her salmon pink outfit does not go with her peachy pink puff bow by any means. From that point your bow collection generally begins to grow exponentially. Somehow you lose one third of her bows in between car seats, crib mattresses, and your fabulous handbag collection… so you buy more bows to replace the old bows…and then well, you findbow-holder-1 some of the lost bows…and to get to the point, in the end the 18″ ribbon bow holder they sell in the store will just not work for you and your daughter’s bows.

We will be showing you two easy and inexpensive ways Annie and I organize our daughters’ hair bows. I (that is Loralee) will be showing you my method today and tomorrow Annie will be popping in with her method! If you have a great method – PLEASE SHARE! Everyone loves a good hair bow organization method!

Loralee’s Method
What you need:
1. Spare Ribbon
2. Staple Gun

Directions:
1. Open the inside of your daughter’s closet.
2. Measure the length of ribbon you will need according to your closet’s measurements and how much room you need for bows.

4. Using your staple gun, staple the ribbon to the top edge of your daughter’s closet where it will not be seen. We, of course, want this to look nice.
5. Pull the ribbon to be sure it is secure.
6. Being careful your ribbon is straight, staple the bottom of the ribbon in place. I recommend two staples.
7. Repeat with other ribbons according to your bow needs!
