With all the adoption drama here, I love to take a few moments and just stare at each of my children. I like to really look at them for several minutes and feel the unique beauty of each of their spirits. So many miracles and some rough roads have accompanied each of their journeys to our home and as we embark upon this truly surprise fourth adoption, I have to have faith for the very best. I have to have faith that all things will go smoothly and this special little girl will end up being my above angel’s “twin.”
How is it that God makes each child perfect? He has never made a mistake. Each child born on this Earth comes out perfect as can be. Not all come with ten fingers, ten toes and rosie cheeks, but they all come perfect. I think it is the same with the families they end up with. The road to each other may not be perfect. The journey to each other may have some bumps and bruises, but it is the perfect family for that perfect baby at the perfect time. It is a perfect plan designed by the Almighty. We sometimes forget that a perfect plan doesn’t mean it will be the easiest plan or the one with the least amount of road blocks or even the one we would have chosen ourselves. It just means that the end result will end up just as it perfectly should have. It is a perfect plan for us.
Here’s to following our individual perfect plans with all the bumps along the way!
