Let’s be honest, in this economy if you want that Balenciaga bag to some how miraculously make it under the tree, you are going to have to cut costs somewhere. Lowering your budget for what goes on the tree can easily increase your budget under the tree. And there are very few things as inexpensive (and deliciously adorable as well) then marshmallows! Taking a cue from our adorable (and very low-cost) Marshmallow World garland, we at No Fuss Fabulous decided to incorporate the inexpensive Candyland theme to the whole tannenbaum. So break out the marshmallows and make room in your wallet for those little extras that make life just a bit sweeter.
To make these inexpensive ornaments, take clear glass ornament balls (you can buy a package of ten for less than 3 bucks here) and fill them with red pompoms and mini marshmallows or any small candies of your choice. Tie a ribbon on top.
No Fuss Fabulous tip: To keep the fuss (and cost) low, try buying the premade holiday bows at your local Walmart or Michaels. This will take the frustration out of making perfect bows as well as the cost of expensive ribbon. The bow pictured here was purchased at Walmart in a package of 16 for 2 dollars.
Continuing our low-cost sweet confection of a tree, we purchased styrofoam balls from Michaels (and you know we used the 40% off coupon), wrapped them in Christmas cellophane, and added coordinating ribbons from our tree. Completely adorable. Incerdibly inexpensive. Absolutely No Fuss Fabulous.
