As a long-time student of the human body, I am loving a recent trend I have been seeing the last 2 years or so: everywhere you look on the internet, the design world and Etsy you will see anatomical hearts. They are seen in valentines, crafts, tee shirts, knitting patterns, even Jello molds! I don’t know who was the Original that started this design craze (if you do, please comment!), but I definitely appreciate the creativity. You may not know Bazette’s Formula, but you may know a few “QT”s in need of some “RR” or at least a valentine. So to send these cuties some valentine love, heart attack their house!
1. Print out this heart a bunch of times on cardstock paper.
2. Tape a tongue depressor (it HAS to be a tongue depressor, just for the theme of it all!) to the back of each heart.
3. Sneakily stick all the hearts on your Valentine’s door or stick them in the lawn.
4. Leave a Valentine on the doorstep with the words: “Your lawn (or door) just had a heart attack! We love you! Happy Valentine’s Day”
5. Ring the doorbell and run. The kids will love it!
