There is something about seeing couples in love that sparks our hearts and creativity. I (along with everyone else!) love to look at beautiful wedding blogs like Style Me Pretty and Elizabeth Anne Designs . There is something so beautiful about preparing a day just about your love. Love brings such happiness into our lives. Loralee and I each married our sweethearts a number of years ago, but we think that just as much (if not more!) preparation and thought should go into each day of the rest of your lives. The wedding blogs inspire and remind me to personalize and vocalize my love in many different ways. Some ways help me to recognize how much I love and appreciate him and other ways help him to see how much I love him. This next month is a great opportunity to explore and remind yourself about love!
Valentine’s Day is what you make of it.
So let’s get lovey-dovey!
These garland silhouettes we have provided are the perfect start to adding a hint of love and romance in your home.
Print out three copies each of the Lover’s Silhouettes and the Love Birds Silhouettes on card stock paper. Then cut out the silhouettes and tape the hearts halves together on the back. To add extra meaning to the garland, write a little love note on the back of each heart either to yourself or your loved ones.
Wah-lah! You will have a garland faster than Cupid can loose an arrow!
We love the black of the silhouettes. Use them alone or embellish with pink ribbons or glue onto scrapbook paper. We also think these garlands would look amazing cut out from old romance novels like Pride and Prejudice or sheets of music featuring love ballads then inked around the edges!
No Fuss Fabulous tip: Use small scissors to cut out most of the detail and then an Exacto knife for the more detailed areas.
