Martha’s Spiderweb Cheesecake No Fuss Style

We fell completely in love with Martha Stewart’s spooktacular Spiderweb Cheesecake featured in this month’s Martha Stewart Living. Yet, after beating the lemon juice, whisking the cream to stiff peaks, tapping the bottom of the pan to release air bubbles, and transferring the reserved ganache…we thought to ourselves, “This spiderweb cheesecake is fabulous, but Martha – it absolutely is not No Fuss Fabulous.” So here’s how to make this adorable spiderweb cheesecake in less than an eighth of the time. The pictured cheesecake took us less than five minutes. Now that is No Fuss Fabulous!

Purchase your favorite chocolate sauce and cheesecake from your local bakery or grocer. We personally recommend Cheesecake Factory’s Pumpkin Cheesecake or Sara Lee’s Pumpkin Cheesecake. (You can find both at your local supermarket in the freezer section.) Place a small portion of the chocolate sauce into a plastic baggy. Cut a very small “tip” at one end of the baggy. Starting in the center of the cheesecake, create a spiral design onto your cheesecake. Once finished, take a small knife and gently pull lines from the center of the spiral to the outer edge. Continue all around your cheesecake. Once finished add a little spider!
